Saya jarang buat kek hantaran buttercream. Jarang-jarang sekali. The last one was 4 years ago rasanya.

Saya lebih selesa bermain dengan fondant untuk sebarang kek hantaran mahupun kek perkahwinan.

Tapi baru-baru ini bila berlaku krisis bahan-bahan asas membuat fondant di pasaran, saya tiada pilihan melainkan menawarkan kepada pelanggan untuk tukar kek fondant kepada buttercream based sahaja.

I do feel sad tak dapat tunaikan hajat asal pelanggan. Tapi selepas siap kek nya, I'm glad I did!!!

Cake so sweet saya rasa nak simpan sendiri je! Hahaha... maafkan tahap keperasanan melampau tu. Jarang saya berterus terang begini :-P.

A firefly wedding cake for cake cutting ceremony of Aziq & Tima's reception held in Taman Sri Andalas, Klang. It was a great pleasure working with Puan Hajjah Fauziah.

Deco : 100% fondant with gumpaste flowers

You can even eat the plane. Choc moist cake carved and shaped into a plane. Wings, propeller and other detailing are made of fondant.

Massive cake. 4 days's work 16 hours/day. I hardly breath. Phewww!!!

It was kind of a last minute order. I was chosen as a replacement since her 1st baker back out in the last minute and left her in chaos. Discussion was in a very speedy mode because I was given 3 days notice to produce the cake. To be honest I don't normally entertain such last minute order. Too much hassle.

But I obliged this time around. And I'm glad I did.

I took one look at my client's face when she stood there admiring my cake, seeming quite lost in her own world, and I think my hard work really worth it ;-).

There's nothing more pleasant and satisfying than making another person happy with your work.

I'm backkkk!!! Sorry for the long hiatus (again!!!). Banyak perkara berlaku. March was an extremely busy month. Followed by April with a very sad news. Selesai exhibition di MMU Cyberjaya terus sambung bergilir jaga my mother in law di HUKM. For almost a month berulang alik from Shah Alam to HUKM, Cheras. Sehinggalah my MIL passed away pada minggu ketiga bulan April. Satu kejutan buat kami. Tapi harus terima dengan redha. Setiap yang hidup pasti akan mati. Mati itu pasti. Al Fatihah buat arwah ibu mentua. Semoga rohnya tenang di sana. Amin.

Here below adalah wedding cake with oriental theme untuk anak saudara hubby. The wedding took place in March. Majlis perkahwinan cucu yang terakhir sempat dihadiri oleh arwah ibu mentua.
