NEMO @ Underwaterworld Theme

Fazreenah, Atilitia's mom contacted me asking if I can make a cake with nemo fish on top. It was for her 1st birthday. I wanted to create something special so I look up for ideas. Nemo fish alone would be too lonely. Hence, come the underwaterworld theme.

There are a lot of underwaterworld elements that need to be created using fondant. long hours of work but I enjoy doing each and every one of it.

Some bright colours, some pastels. You don't want a dull looking cake for your children's birthday.

Arsenal Jersey Cake

A 2kg carrot walnut cake for a footie nut's birthday ;-)

Guna teknik potong dan cantum semula. That's how I come up with the jersey shape. There's no other way of doing it. Takde baking pans bentuk sebegini. Kena buat kerja arkitek sikit ;-)

Elsa "Frozen" Doll Cake

Throughout the year 2014, I made a couple of Elsa (the character from "Frozen") doll cake.

The first one was for birthday girl, Azureen sometime in May. While the 2nd was for Arissa. 

What a lovely coincident that both girls' name started with 'A' (*_^).

The actual Elsa "Frozen" doll cake package does not come with a miniature fondant Olaf but when I have extra time and the mood for experimenting with my sculpting and fondant modelling skill, I indulged.

And who knows you'll probably be the lucky one who gets the extra little gift from me ;-).

Saya jarang buat kek hantaran buttercream. Jarang-jarang sekali. The last one was 4 years ago rasanya.

Saya lebih selesa bermain dengan fondant untuk sebarang kek hantaran mahupun kek perkahwinan.

Tapi baru-baru ini bila berlaku krisis bahan-bahan asas membuat fondant di pasaran, saya tiada pilihan melainkan menawarkan kepada pelanggan untuk tukar kek fondant kepada buttercream based sahaja.

I do feel sad tak dapat tunaikan hajat asal pelanggan. Tapi selepas siap kek nya, I'm glad I did!!!

Cake so sweet saya rasa nak simpan sendiri je! Hahaha... maafkan tahap keperasanan melampau tu. Jarang saya berterus terang begini :-P.

Deco : 100% fondant with gumpaste flowers

You can even eat the plane. Choc moist cake carved and shaped into a plane. Wings, propeller and other detailing are made of fondant.

Massive cake. 4 days's work 16 hours/day. I hardly breath. Phewww!!!

Gift Box Cake

A giftbox cake as a souvenir for YM Bonda Tuanku Sultan Mizan. YM Bonda gave the honour of gracing the wedding reception of Aziq & Tima held at Tuan Haji Hushim & Puan Hajah Fauziah's residence in Klang.

3D Tayo Little Bus

Experimenting with my all time favourite - chocolate ball.

I normally roll the ball-shaped cake into a bowl of chocolate rice, but this time I dipped them into coloured melted chocolate, piped some milk chocolate on top to resemble dripping hot choc sauce and topped with glazed cherry.

There, they look like icecream now. My mini icecream... yummms

Perfect to grace your dessert/candy table.
